During the Season 3 kick-off, we head to Amarillo, TX, and the Texas Panhandle to explore parts of Route 66. We stopped at some iconic spots like Cadillac Ranch and some more not so known places like the Golden Light Cafe. After we left Amarillo he headed to Merus Adventure for a few days of boondocking. Merus Adventure is an off-road park designed for camping and off-roading. But you cannot use Dirt Bikes, 4-wheelers, or UTVs; they only allow low speed and low noise like vehicles. Our next stop was in McLean, TX, where we saw the first Phillips Gas Station.

We never felt it necessary to have an RV “Safe” GPS. We traveled for 2 years before we decided it was time. What led to that decision was the countless times our GPS put us down the wrong roads, and we had to back out because we couldn’t get turned around.

RVing already has a steep learning curve, but add that you will be in it full-time; it can get even more overwhelming. It is enviable that you will make mistakes and learn along the way, but these 5 tips are things we wish we would have known before starting out full-time. Hopefully, these will help ease that learning curve so you can start enjoying your time on the road even more.

Getting started RVing can be overwhelming because you just bought your first rig and realize you still need to outfit it. There are all these bells and whistles that everyone tells you that you need, but there is very little that you need to get started when it comes down to it.

There are several different types of RV Shows local, regional, and nationwide. Local shows typically have a few dealers from the same area showing off their inventory. Regional Shows are usually dealers within a defined area coming together to show off their inventory.

Season 2 started out as Part-Timers and quickly turned into Full-Timers. On August 8th we left our house and moved into our 2022 Grand Design Reflection 312BHTS.

Since we went full-time last August, we stayed in the North East. In fact, Connecticut was the furthest south that we traveled. Finally, in December, we decided to hit the road towards the Southwest.

I can’t say Acadia National Park was a bucket list destination for us, mainly because we didn’t know about it. Now that we have been, it is a place we highly recommend.

Ever since Jeremy saw the movie Lake Placid, he was wanted to visit the area. So we used that as an excuse to pack up and head there, plus we love the Adirondack Mountains.

If you have camped in the North East, you likely heard about Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort. This is one of the hardest resorts to get into and is usually booked a year in advance.

We are taking a break in travel videos to bring you a technical video. We have often heard that people are told to either A) buy several thousands of dollars worth of gear to get started or B) weren’t aware that the basic hoses don’t come with the RV.

During the summers, Jeremy's mom usually takes the kids to stay at a friend's cabin in Alto, NM, just outside Ruidoso, NM.

Lake George has been on our bucket list for a few years. The Lake is naturally fed by snow and glaciers. We chose to stay at Lake George RV Park, and we opted to stay on the side with the waterslide.
